For the Luddites out there who missed the secret message hidden in
amongst the techno-babble:

    The archive is back!

De nada, amiga.

That said, I don't think Diana will find much in there regarding COL49
criticism.

Also, and while we are here, on the subject of industrial action (or
lack thereof) I was on strike on Tuesday along with 99% of University
staff in the UK (and by 99% I don't just mean Teach and Mr Speccy Geek
from the lab - porters, security guards, cooks, cleaners et al [who
he?] were all out). I can't see much hope that the current chosen
representatives of the people (that's a technical term which may not
bear much relation to the everyday realities of party politics -
translation: `shower of incompetents') will change their tack but
let's hope the incoming Labour (Lib/Lab anyone?) government takes
heed.
