No no no, you're onto something there.  I hadn't thought of it at all but 
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is about as good an example of Pynchoneque movie 
as I can think of right now.  Mixed modes, a paranoid trip about a very 
real Them, contrast of the preterite Toons with the Elect humans, a-and, 
Roger and Jessica in a new permutation.  Go for it, Jester!
