Fargo

Couple o' thoughts regarding this:
First of all, the accent is a gross caricature... and the Coen brothers are
perfectly well aware of this.  They are, after all, from Minneapolis
(incidentally, so is Terry Gilliam).  While you may find such an accent in
Brainard (where the Sheriff is from), the Twin Cities are another story all
together.  It struck me while watching it that the movie is really two in
one... packed full of subtle little jokes that only someone from the upper
midwest would get.  I can't really imagine how it would play any place else...

Secondly...

???
You don't think Kafka is funny?  Am I the only one?
