Like I said... you will find such an accent in rural, but not metropolitan
areas.  Fargo was largely set in Minneapolis, or, at least, the suburbs
thereof.  I saw the film in the uptown area there, where I lived for more
than seven years, and the biggest laughs came from the accents.

Careful now... you're likely to give offense.  We Minneapolitans don't
appreciated being characterized as yokels except by one of our own... heh.
