Right on!  KH is so cool, man.  Donald (Oddball) Sutherland with all of
those 'good vibes, man.  That awesome ending which spoofed clint
Eastwood's _For A Fistful Of Dollars_!  It is an awesome pic.

				
That reminds me.  There was another surrealistic war movie that had
strange Pynchonian overtones.   Burt lancaster played a one-eyed Patton
type who rallied some Americans during the Battle of The Bulge and they
fought the Germans in an old castle.   Peter Falk was in it, as a GI who
quit the war top become a baker in this little Belgian town.  There was
also a guy on a white horse and a volkswagen.  It was really strange. 
And in the end . . .everything got blown all to hell.
