Fellow New Jersey Residents,

As you may know, the City of Vineland is the center of agriculture for
The Garden State. We, the people of Vineland, take pride in the fact
that our produce is enjoyed by the residents of the tri-state area.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

In July 1996, the Vineland City Council voted to allow an agricultural
plot be developed as government subsidized housing. The houses will
be priced to sell at $45,000. The surrounding neighborhood has been
assessed at $110,000-$200,000 per home. This project will DESTROY
our lifelong investments, to fatten the wallets of big government at
EVERYONE'S expense.

President Clinton, in his most recent State of the Union address,
announced that "The era of Big Government has ended". Why must the
residents of Vineland, NJ be the last casualties in the war against
Big Government???? Why hasn't the City Council of Vineland learned
from the mistakes of Newark, Jersey City, and Camden? When these
communities have realized their mistakes, and are working to improve
their neighborhoods, why has Vineland CHOSEN to be held hostage by the
blood money that government subsidized housing encourages?????

IS VINELAND WILLING TO SACRIFICE ITS PAST TO
GAMBLE ON ITS FUTURE????

How YOU can help:

You as a concerned person, can send an email to
the Vineland City Council:

vineland at cyberenet.com

Tell the City of Vineland that they are making a GRAVE error by
approving the government subsidized housing at East and Oak. Tell
them the methods of 1970s era Urban Renewal HAVE been tried AND
abandoned by cities such as Newark, Jersey City, and Camden. Help the
residents of Vineland. The pen is mightier than the sword. Don't let
it come to swords....

SAVE VINELAND
