I'm eager to hear more about this.  But on a (barely) related topic, here's 
TRP Trivia Corner for today -- does anybody remember which Pynchon 
book/story contains the character "Slow" Lerner, and what is his real first 
name?  I suspect he's in _GR_ but I can't remember the context off hand. 
 This is one of my favorite Pynchon character names, by the way.  Just call 
me Mr. Sophistication.
