Someone sez:

Well, comparisons are odious, as somebody or other else has written or said.
Actually, when I read FP I thought it was an attempt at a TRP-style novel
with lots of material obviously lifted right out of Francis A. Yates' _Art
of Memory_. FP even seemed a little cheap, as though it were aimed toward
the not-too-discerning-reader. It reminded me of the efforts of Jim Dodge
(_FUP_ excepted) or maybe even those of Robert Anton Wilson. But not TRP.
Nooooo!
