A-and not wanting to read ahead, I can't check the details, but isn't there
a springtime scene with that there Katje ridin' along a canal on a bicycle
somewhere in that recently liberated Holland...  Bet that was Byron the
Bike, startin' off on a long roll into history as the first beat-up set of
wheels given a spanking clean coat of white paint by those Dutch
activist-hippie Provos of the '60s...a-and that sloppy balding mumbling
walrus-moustached American expat dude gave it a few swipes of paint for
good measure (good karma indeed)...
