I think the Caviliers / Hotshots connection is tenuous at best...  I saw
(gasp)  the obvious drug influence....(hotshot is a usually leathal dose of
usually heroin) .  There were  30's 40's jazz bands with sly references to
herion or opium, though of the top of my head I cannot remember any.  Also,
of course the "Enrico" is in keeping with the warped TRP naming style.....
