I've only heard Full Isaac -- it turned up very cheap in the local
secondhand store soon after someone mentioned it here so I thought
I'd check it out. And I'm glad I did. Reminds me of REM back when
they were good (first two LPs) or the Wedding Present -- that
special balance of intimate vocals, thrashing guitars and nagging
melodies. Nothing Pynchonesque about them or lyrics as far as I can
tell, but if that's the only criteria you judge music by you're going
to have a very small record or CD collection....
