Norman Brown's Influence on V

Just wondering if any of you are familiar with Norman Brown's Love's
Body? If so (or even if you're not), I was wondering if any of you
know/think Profane and Stencil are brothers? Maybe it's blatantly stated
but I didn't pick up on it. Getting back to that "Love's
Body" thing, are Profane and Stencil both looking for their mother
(regardless if it's the same person)? I'm asking this because "Love's
Body" is like a psychological thing and has many ideas stating that sex
is a substitute for one's mother, from a male perspective that is. I was
told Brown was an influence to Pynchon's V and was wondering maybe if
this is one of those ideas Pynchon incorporated into his book.
