Could be true. Also, he could have been just making silly jokes. My
brother and I used to do that all the time. I still love to say, "To the
showers with the Jew!" when I leave the room to bathe. I'm the only Yid
in this family. When they get on me for something and I can't defend
myself I accuse them of being kike haters. We Jews are allowed to do
this. I would have to know what he said in order to answer your
question, but I don't think he was ever known for good taste in humor. I
tend to suspect that Chrissie was picking up on something real.
