Either this Jules Siegel guy is the biggest huckster since P.T. Barnum or
the greatest savior since...well, I'm not religious, so I'l let you pick
the appropriate idol....

Nonetheless, what entertainment it is to hear all of you bitching back and
forth to one another about a man who may or may not know someone whose
name may or may not be Thomas Pynchon who may or may not be one of the
twentieth century's greatest writers.

Gee, how tenuous the internet is...

I hope my subtle sardonicism is missed on no one.

Dave

BTW, before I get flamed myself (I can feel the heat coming) I do not mean
to disparage Michael Glosup's suggestion of what to do with excess books.
I mean merely to disparage those petty arguments that cannot be
substantiated, whether the argument be intitiated by or directed to Mr.
Siegel. If you are so compelled to disagree with the man, rock n roll, as
they say, and if you want to listen to what he has to say, that's just
peachy too.
