Hey guys,

Not to say that I'm not enjoying the vitriol that's been percolating back and
forth (and I really am, which probably reveals more about me than I'd wish to
on this here 'Net-thingie),  but whatever happened to our epic and now
perhaps-Quixotic attempt to disentangle, or rather knot-into, Thomas
Pynchon's glorious latter-day modern-day 20th Century masterpiece, GRAVITY'S
RAINBOW?

In other words, what the fuck happened to the Group Reading?  Is it off?  Did
we disband Parliament so that the representatives could go home and protect
their families from the flames raining down random-like?  Please explain.
