Close to what I was getting at.... another example is the overt hostility
to certain forms of worship that are not "correct". I'm referring to the
blood sacrifice found in Santeria, Vodoun, Candomble, etc that provoke
responses of horror from yer average NooAger. These are belief systems,
are they not? It seems that certain parties wish to "clean up" the
world (a messy old place, I'll grant you..) much like the Victorian
temperance types did (and still are trying to do) at the end of the
last century...
