The NYT crosswords are not what they used to be since the editor Eugene T.
Maleska died about 2 or 3 years ago. They used to be a challenge, but they
have degenerated into puzzles where the answers are occasionally  Madonna,
Paula Abdul, Rin Tin Tin etc, ad nauseum. Although there will be a toughie
on a friday or a saturday.
