Crowley's _Love & Sleep_ is indeed a sequel to _Aegypt_, and
thus radically non-comprhendable on its own, esp. since
Crowley's stated method of artistic explication is the
juggling of patterns, rather than anything so straightforward
as simplistic narrative whose earlier part might be summed
up in a Chapter One synopsis. Moreover, there are _two_
books slated to complete the quartet, a fact us Crowley lovers
view with despair, since our author parallels TRP in the
extreme slowness of his writing and release of books. With an
average of 5-8 years between books, the quartet won't be finished
till, oh, 2010 or so.
Crowley's masterpiece, of course, is _Little, Big_, and should
(might) satisfy any Pynchonphiles.
