Hello y'all:

I have only just found you folks, and I am on my knees praising (GOD?)
I've read TRP since GR. For a bit of history: in 1973 a friend told me 
of a writer that I had to try. I did.  About 200 pp. into the book, I 
knew that I had something special. So,in  keeping with my greedy book 
scout ways, I went right back and bought another. My friends, I became 
consumed. COL49 was not too difficult to find in Oklahoma in those days.
But V.? There is a story I will not take your time to tell. But it was 
fun. I got them all; and lost them to a rather nasty ex-wife. But do not 
weep for me: I shall have them again, for as always, I have leads.

Sorry for the anecdotal crap, I only wanted to say hi. In the two days I 
have been on the list I have seen more discussion of P.'s work and 
themes than I have encountered in years.
