That, I guess, would be the Picador (1975) edition, with a very fine cover
painting by Anita Kunz - which is a treat in itself. I have two copies of
this: a dogeared third impression from the early 80s, with a fetching cream
background, and a pristine twelfth impression with a sort of so-so duck-egg
blue background. I'll whack the former under a scanner as soon as I sort
myself out once I get to London...
This, btw, is my farewell message from the celtic account: I'm off to do a
Masters degree (HyperMedia, in case you're curious!) for a year, and I'm
unplugging all the lists I'm on tonight, only to reappear in a week or so at
hrc.wmin.ac.uk.
It's agonising to have to drop out, even temporarily, just at this point in
the GRGR, but it must be done. Catch you all next week.
