TP supposedly to sign M&D copies tonite -- NYC

I can add, since I live just a few blocks from the Gryphon Bookshop,
that it gives new meaning to "hole in the wall" as far as bookstores are
concerned.  I believe they only sell used books and, while it's a great
place to have in the neighborhood, there's barely enough room inside the
store to turn around.  The thought of TRP setting up for a signing, and
the crowd that would attract, makes it something of an April fools joke
on the store owner as well (who sits wedged in a corner surrounded by
piles of second-hand books and CDs, probably holding his breath lest
everything come tumbling down).
