Well, since the replacements were Winter and December and since the
recipe is clearly for mince pies I guess it has to be Xmas - neither
an A nor a V word but, well, . . . I have this funny feeling there's a
conneXion - oh and of course our very own favourite king and saviour
ought to get his feast day mentioned in the first sentence, now,
oughtn't he. Now does anyone have any idea how that `as of Cousins' is
supposed to be read? Does he mean that both the outhouses and the
cousins have had their sides starred with snowball markings? This is
going to be hard work but great fun.
