Whirligigs and squibs in the summer; nights on the family porch listening
to the pianola and looking at stereopticon slides and playing with the
Zoetrope.  Riding on the high-wheel bicycles to the schoolyard for
a game of snap-the-whip with my school chums and then off for a refreshing
saspirilla!  Those were the days!
