"Pie-Spices, peel'd Fruits, Suet, heated Sugar"

Ahem. These ingredients make up both a mincemeat pie and a plum pudding,
the latter being the most traditional of Christmas fare. Suet (beef fat)
is not used in a pie crust, but is an essential ingredient of the filling
for both desserts, for rich or poor folks. Reading the delicious sentence
back, I realize Mr. P certainly would be referring to plum pudding,
especially with the word "batter" used. I'm sure this means little in the
greater scheme of things, but I just thought I'd throw it in.

Now, next sentence puh-leeeeeeze??
