I can think of a number of different possible sources for this memory of
the Twilight zone episode. Although I don't recall that episode, I
remember that a science fiction story titled "Perchance to dream" ended
with the protagonist being carted away to that same sanitorium. It was in
a collection titled 101 great short-short science fiction stories. Or
maybe 101 great short-short fantasy stories.
	There was also a twilight zone derived series of books for kids
which featured teens as the main characters. One of those stories had a
similar plot, although the character didn't kill herself. Also, wasn't
that the same sanitorium as in "Terror at 50,000" feet? Or was it 5,000?
