An archive of P-related material?

Dear Foax

Mike Weaver has just sent me a truly fascinating article on US-Cuba
relations which should be obligatory reading for anyone interested in
the role of the US and global capital in the post-WWII era - that is
to say, to anyone who's interested in understanding _Gravity's
Rainbow_. Mike, I suggest you post the website address for the
article to the list - let foax go find it themselves, rather than you
having to e-mail to all and sundry. I really do recommend this
article to all P-listers.

A suggestion which occurs to me is that the P-list commence a project
similar to that undertaken by Geoff Alexander for the <alt.movies.kubrick>
newsgroup: that we keep an archive of material which is of interest to
Pynchon readers, including some which examines themes crucial to our
readings of Pynchon (for instance, at Geoff's site there are articles on
the "Prisoner's Dilemma" and games theory which are useful background
to _Dr Strangelove_). Check out Geoff's site at
                       http://www.netins.net/showcase/sahaja/
if you're interested. When I return to the P-list (not if!) I'd be willing to
lend a hand to such a project.
