When I was working in Honduras back in the early '70s, there was said 
to be a place (an old colonial gov't building?) in Trujillo (La Cieba)
that held a jar with Walker's head in it preserved in the local rum.

Never had a chance to check it out. I have seen Cortez' horse
(in rather poor shape) in the cathedral in Tizimin, Yucatan, though.
