Marginally Joe Boxer Related

Is holding a fashion show in Iceland that features "Viking-style helmets" as
culturally insensitive as I think it is?  Weren't Icelanders as willing
hosts to the Vikings as the Vikings were gracious guests--which is to say,
not at all?  Or is that all ice under the bridge?  Can Heikki, or others
enlighten me/us?

I suppose I could argue this is marginally "Vineland"-realted, eh?
