[Brett g Porter]

He recorded "Cherokee" with J. McShann in 1942, apparently. Couldn't find a
label or recording ID.
Also available on a disc titled "Bird's Eyes, Vol. 18" [Philology W 848.2]
with the following personnel:
March-April 1946; unknown venue, Los Angeles:
  Charlie Parker  alto saxophone
  Willie Smith  alto saxophone (1)
  Benny Carter  alto saxophone (2)
  Nat King Cole  piano
  Oscar Moore  guitar
  Johnny Miller  bass
  Buddy Rich  drums

Never knew that Cole played with Bird. Kinda weird to me...
