No fair!

What are the odds for me to get M&D any time before may 15th here in
France?
Airlines and airports are on strike every other day, the other one is a
bank holiday. Ports have been blockaded by angry fishermen over the size of
trailers or whatever  allowed by European Union... Every where I look the
prospect is bleak. May 10th would be all right though (Just in time  for my
birthday, forget about 8th, VE day is an off day). In the meantime I'll
read some local history: while strolling in the suburban town where I moved
a few months ago, I noticed a plate : "Place du V2" (V2 Square). Someone
from the town hall told me the Germans aimed a few V2s at the Paris
surroundings in november 1944,one fell on the church here and another one 
in a forest nearby. I'll do some research in local libraries just to
pretend there's no cooler Pynchon related reading these days. BTW, the
place where I live now is Deuil, the French for mourning.

Good reading you all, I think I'll unlurk for some time, I couldn't bear
filing all those M&D spoiler messages. 
The page number alone would smart as an insult to a Pynchon preterite. :-)
