How I became nearly famous

Just before unsubscribing for a week or two, I wanted to throw my two
centimes in the Lineland business.
First, my thanks to Jules who has once again taken this list away from its
main subject for a few days and turned our attention towards a book not
many had been waiting for. No-one has yet started spoiling M&D. Not even
those listers from "la perfide Albion" (the derogatory French name for
Britain) who have treacherously got their hands on the treasure first and
notwithstanding all rules as to the proper way to get to it. A good enough
reason to revive ancient enmity.
But,otoh I am furious. Jules is publishing a book about his experience on
the net, with the P-list as a guinea pig and he never made it clear before!
I knew I would be sorry for too much lurking. I've just missed the
opportunity to have my name in a book.
Please, Jules if you're planning a sequel to Lineland, have a thought for
all of us who stupidly missed the first ride, don't do it withTRP's sloth
and don't wait till his next.
Enjoy your reading,
(still anonymously waiting) Joseph
