Delete You/Delete Me

So, the university server apparently had a hernia over the weekend, and I
couldn't access e-mail, but lo! when I finally could, I had over 100
messages from my pals on the pynchon list.  And the dang book hasn't even
come out yet (on this continent).

I don't really want to unsubscribe, so I'll make you a deal:  I'm going to
be a little heavy on the delete key for the next little while, or maybe a
lot heavy, so anything I write may be even more irrelevant, uninformed, and
redundant than previously.  In return: feel free to delete my messages
before reading them and with impunity, if you don't already.  

I know I'll be missing some gems, but crikey, I don't want to give up my day
job.
