I saw a scopitone on Mauritius in the early '70s in a club with
whitewashed walls, ceiling fans, and an adequate supply of lizards.  The
island was permeated with the odor of molasses.  The scopitone featured
a novelty song called 'Juanita Banana.'  Unforgetable.
