Does it apply? Paranoia is very emblematic in our society but it's not very
useful in exchanging information and discussing issues. It leads to the "Is
anything real except me and am I even real?" solipsism which is an essential
element of serial killing, mass murder and other individual and social crimes.

Prudent skepticism is useful, but at some point you have to accept something
that the "enemy" says in order to communicate. In the case at hand, people
were complaining about redundancy. I suggested that one way to avoid this
would be to eliminate the issue of lying and deception and accept as given
my answers to those accusations, or, if not, then to put the issue aside as
not useful.
