They showed pictures of clear plastic radiation dummies pretty much exactly
like the figures that Pynchon describes. There were descriptions of how they
were used and how they worked but that wasn't pertinent to what I remember
of V. I'd have to read that part of the book again and I don't feel like it.
Who was that jerk who made that stupid crack about doing my research for me
today? Was it the librarian at some college in Massachusetts? Maybe he can
check it all out. I answered his last insults privately and he sent me a
message threatening to report me to the FBI (or someone) if I tried to
communicate privately with him again.
Then we have your insulting message -- "Unethical Assets Manufacturing" --
with this charming item among other torrents of illogical abuse:
