I can see psychology, philosophy, politics, econonics, and certainly
sociology becoming an issue, but morality I just don't get

Is this bourgeois morally they were talking about? Is there another kind?

The Market and The Media are the two universals in modern life.
In my humble opinion attempts to explain either are largely futile.
