My non-Pynchon reading list right now (on top of the stuff that I
have to read to make my professors happy):

	William Gaddis: J R

Edward Gibbon: Decline and Fall (vol. 3)

Charles Dickens: The Old Curiosity Shop (just finished)

CDs that have been staying in my player lately are the Miles Davis
Live at the Plugged Nickel 1965 box set and David Bowie's _Outside_, which
has got to be one of the best concept albums ever. I highly recommend it
to fans of Pynchon, and a couple of reviews of it actually used the word
"Pynchonesque," as I recall (like that word means anything).
