There is Laurie Anderson's song "Gravity's Angel" on the _Mr
Heartbreak_ album, which is dedicated to TRP, and which has a chorus
of:
"Send it up. Watch it rise. See it fall.
   Gravity's Rainbow.
Send it up. Watch it rise. See it fall.
   Gravity's Angel."

"Living inside the system is like driving across
the countryside in a bus driven by a maniac bent
 on suicide."
   - Thomas Pynchon, "Gravity's Rainbow"
