I *think* David Slade's book recalled a time when TRP was a
sailor and in DC, where he met a woman who taught him opera.
Two stories -- "Entropy" and "Mortality & Mercy in Vienna" 
-- are set in DC. Regarding psych majors, et. al., I always 
thought the GWU stuff in M&MIV read like a sophmoric put-down.
The satire has more bite in "Entropy." The boy grew up damn
quick, IMHO at least...
