What about John's Wife? which is a great send up of Ovid, plus Coover's
curious perversion...and the in-the-works LUCKY PIERRE, an excerpt of which
appeared in Larry McCaffery's AFTER YESTERDAY'S CRASH, and is supposedly the
longest thing Coover's written so far, plus -- probably -- the "weirdest"
too, considering it has been in the typewriter for 30 years and counting.
(Lucky Pierre just so happens to appear in Pynchon's V and GR, which I think
makes things weirder.)
