For some of Henry's blues:

>Speaking of sad, does anyone else have any favorite sad passages or
>music. I'm in the mood to wallow (simply because...)

Mark Eitzel (American Music Club) - any of the slow ones for soul-wallowing
sad. Any of the fast ones for
breaking-the-furniture-while-alternately-sobbing-and-growling sad.
Satie's Gymnopedies (sp?) for wistful-sad.
Joni Mitchell - "Judgement of the Moon and Stars," for
everyone's-against-me-but-I-still-have-my-art sad.
Jane Siberry - "When I Was A Boy," entire album for
my-best-friend-died-and-my-entire-reality-has-shifted sad. (Especially
"Sweet Incarnadine." Chills.)
Peter Gabriel - too many to list, but best for
I-was-raised-a-spoiled-rich-kid-but-I-feel-the-deep-suffering-of-the-world
sad. (Plus, you'll feel so much better by the end of the song, especially
when Y'assou N'Dour starts yodeling and all those world beat guys kick out
the jams.)

Hope this helps.
