Do I have a fiendish desire to start a flame war over Babe?

     Diana York Blaine writes:

     >I haven't even seen _Babe_ out of fear that it's similarly
     >devastating...

     Then deedle sez:

     >Not even. However, I did get all misty at the very excellent end -
     >but they were tears of quaint happiness. You'll love it.

Babe, surely, must be the most-watched vid in the Pynchon household.
(It being about pigs and all.)

I beg to differ, though, that there weren't some wrenching moments
seen therein. Remember the pigs getting herded off into the
knacker's truck at the beginning? (Sorry, Diana.) This scene sets
up, quite literally, Babe's raison d'être.

Incredulous at the earnestness with which the above was written,

A-and, so how come there were more posts about Starbucks than any
     GRGR to date, you slackers?
