Babe (was Crying)

Actually Gordy hit theatres about the same time (if not slightly before
Babe) was apparently inferior and disappeared quickly. I think it was the
same sort of Hollywood phenomena that puts out several movies on the same
topic at once. See the flood of Jane Austen novels or the four "fresh
takes" on Shakespeare that appeared last year. (Not that I'm complaining,
most of those have been good movies). In this same vein, there are three
volcano movies coming out in the next month - Dante's Peak, Volcano and a
TV movie Volcano, Fire on the Mountain. 

I agree that the animated video bait and switch is evil.
