The way I remember it, there was a joke of which I remember little except 
that it referred to a French bisexual three-way sexual event (I almost 
wrote "coupling," then realized it would have to be "tripling" and it's 
too early in the day for such literary experiments) and the punch line 
was something about "Lucky Pierre in ze middle!"
