     Cartoon boy Romeo asks:

     Yeah.  I was making a joking ref (albeit one that only I may have 
     understood or found humorous) to the recent Citizen Kane/Rosebud 
     discussion, linking it to the idea of the Rose(bud) as a symbol of 
     sexual and spiritual love.  To wit:  Hearst/Welles/Kane called the 
     female pudenda (now *there's* a sexy term) "Rosebud."  Herman J. 
     Mankiewicz, coincidentally, called his beloved childhood bicycle by 
     the same name.  To each his heaven was what I meant.
