The movie was largely filmed in Helsinki, which passed for Moscow or
Leningrad in other Hollywood films, too. I happened to visit Helsinki
when they were dressing the town up as Moscow, fixing huge portraits 
of Lenin unto the walls, etc. 

Has anyone of you noticed that it is almost always raining in the
Hollywood Soviet Union?
