Most of his work in the 1950s was shot in Europe. It includes iffy things
like his version of THE TRIAL and MR. ARKADIN, but the best include his
OTHELLO (the murder of Cassio(?) was shot in a Turkish bath because the
producers didn't send costumes!--it's a great scene) and CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT
(aka FALSTAFF)--my ultimate Welles film!
