Submitted Mather's work to MY spellchecker, and it wanted to make
the same "correction". Thought it might also choke on Christi. Kind of
foreign sounding. That Cotton and his Latin.

But seriously, hope there WILL be an opportunity for Pynch
to include female characters in the book. Persons of African
descent as well. At first blush (or blossom) C18 doesn't sound
very promising for Katjes and Jessicas, Malcolms and Birds.

Maybe just showing me lack of imagination.
