40 days and 40 nights of rain to cause Noah's Flood.  Just a few days ago 
I heard the old Bill Cosby routine about that, where God sez "I'm gonna 
rain for a thousand days and nights," and Noah sez "Do this, you'll save 
water: rain for 40 days and 40 nights and wait for sewers to back up."  
God sez "RIGHT!"
