First off, let me admit to being a newbie, and a nervous one at that.
After lurking for a week or so, actually sending a message seems such a
big step...

Long story short, I'm looking for any information about Pynchon's time in
Seattle (1961-63, I believe, while he was writing V.).  I have found his
address, and the names of a couple people with whom he worked at Boeing.
Anyone have any other leads?

I may be new to the game (just finished GR last night, in fact, and am
having what seems to be the predictable response), but I realize
the contradiction
in trying to track down any information I can about the man.  It seems to
be a contradiction that we all live with somehow, either finding out all
we can about the author, or obsessively hunting for clues about his
writing.  Know this is a pretty basic sentiment, but just wanted you to
know I was aware of it.
